ENTRY FORM

OPEN BREEDING SHEEP DIVISION
Thursday, July 17 – 8:00 A.M.

Entry Fee $2.50 per head

ALL EXHIBITORS MUST purchase a livestock exhibitors pass,
 unless they are a season pass holder.
 

1.                  Refer to Rules Governing Livestock before proceeding.

2.                  Any exhibitor refusing to parade or who otherwise disobeys the rules laid down in this book will thereby forfeit his or her right to exhibit and any premium money already won.

3.                  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY JULY 1 – IF entries are received late – Double Entry Fee will be charged.

4.                  REGISTRATION forms must be presented to chairperson.  Scrapie tags in ear are required.

5.                  All animals, regardless of age, must be recorded in their respective Record Association with corresponding ear tags.

6.                  ARRIVAL – earliest arrival 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16.  Must be in place by 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

7.                  SHOW TIME: 8:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17.

8.                  RELEASE:  7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17.

9.                  If there are two or less flock in one breed, they will be shown under other breed classes.

10.             Any exhibitor may enter and show as many animals as he or she, desires in any single class, but may receive only two awards and only one award in a group class.  To show in the group classes the animal must show in a single class.

11.             AGE BASE DATES: Yearling - over one year and under two; lamb - less than one year old; Sr. lamb - August 1 thru December 31.

12.             Weather Dam class is female sheep only.

JUNIOR BREEDING SHEEP DIVISION

Thursday, July 17 – 8:00 A.M.

Entry Fee $2.50 per head

 

1.      Refer to Rules Governing Livestock before proceeding.

2.      Open Sheep Division rules apply to Junior Sheep Division exhibitors.

3.      Judging will run concurrently with the Open Sheep Show.

4.      Any boy, or girl, age 8 to 21 years of age in FFA or 4-H may compete.
5.  Sheep must be registered in the exhibitor’s name.  If registered in partnership, both partners must be age 8 to 21. 
6.  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY JULY 1 – IF entries are received late – Double Entry Fee will be charged.
7.  REGISTRATION forms must be presented to chairperson.  Scrapie tags in ear are required.
 
8.  Two or less flock will show in all other breed classes.

9.      Entries must receive at least a red award to be eligible for the Open Sheep Show.
10.  Any exhibitor may enter and show as many animals as he or she, desires in any single class, but may receive only two awards and only one award in a group class.  To show in the group classes the animal must show in a single class.
11.  Registration papers with corresponding ear tags must be available for inspection by the show chairperson.
12.   Junior exhibitor must be present to show his/her animal.
13.  Exhibitors will be required to keep pens and alleys NEAT & CLEAN.
14.  Entries in this division will receive $8.00 on a Blue ribbon, $6.00 on a Red ribbon and $4 on a White ribbon
15.  Wheather Dame class is female sheep only.
