ENTRY FORM

OPEN BREEDING CATTLE DIVISION
Saturday, July 19  - 10:00 A.M.

Entry Fee $5 per head

ALL EXHIBITORS MUST purchase a livestock exhibitors pass,
 unless they are a season pass holder.

  1. Refer to Rules Governing Livestock before proceeding.
  2. Any exhibitor refusing to parade or who otherwise disobeys the rules laid down in this book will thereby forfeit his or her right to exhibit and also any premium money already won.
  3. Entry fees are $5.00 per head. 
  4. Order exhibitor passes (located on the livestock entry form) in advance unless you are a season pass ticket holder
  5. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY July 1st – IF entries are received late – Double Entry Fee will be charged.
  6. Registration forms must be presented to chairperson.
  7. All cattle six months of age and older must have official registration papers.  Cattle under six months of age must have official registration papers or an application for registration or a copy of the sire & the dam’s registration papers.
  8. ARRIVAL – earliest arrival Noon, Thursday, July 17.  Must be in place by 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
  9. SHOW TIME: 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning
  10. RELEASE – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19.
  11. Tie-out time is 8:00 p.m.  Cattle must be in the barns by 8:00 a.m.
  12. A tie-out area will be furnished.  Cattle must remain in the barns or in this tie-out area.  Cattle will not be allowed anywhere else.
  13. No grooming chutes allowed in the barns.
  14. There are to be no nurse cows on the fairgrounds.
  15. All bulls must be shown with nose lead.
  16. Chairman reserves the right to assign stalls.  Stalls will have sawdust - no straw.
  17. Must clean up tie-out area – premiums will be withheld.

BEEF CLASSES

There will be a separate breed show if more than 8 head of a particular breed are exhibited.  If less than 8 head of any breed, they will show in ONE all other breeds class.  The Chairmen reserves the right to combine age classes dependent upon entries received.

JUNIOR BREEDING CATTLE DIVISION

Saturday, July 19 – 10:00 A.M.

Entry Fee $5 per head

Arrival & Release will be the same as Open Breeding Cattle

1.   Refer to Rules Governing Livestock before proceeding.

2.   Open Beef Cattle Division rules apply to Junior Beef Division exhibitors.

3.   Judging will run concurrently with the Open Cattle Show

4.   Any boy or girl age 8 to 21 years of age may compete in this division.

5.   Cattle must be owned by Junior Exhibitor only.  Ownership and place of residence is determined by name and location on registration papers.  Cattle must be owned by said junior exhibitor at least 60 days prior to show.

6.   All calves must be owned and shown by the exhibitor and must have been fed, cared for and developed by said exhibitor.

7.   Only one calf may be shown in a class by one exhibitor.

8.   Classes will be the same as the open classes except there will be no group classes.

9.   Entries in this division will receive $8 on a Blue ribbon, $6 on a Red ribbon and $4 on a White ribbon.
